Matt acquired Wind Bender from the founder of the company in 2023. Born and raised in a blue-collar family, Matt has been around the trades his entire life. Seeing the trend of larger, private equity owned HVAC and Plumbing services businesses enter the industry, Matt was compelled to build a culture that believes in earning long-term customers through transparency and ethical business practices, rather than prioritizing sales.
Matt is married to his high school sweetheart Natalie and the father of two children, daughter Evangeline and son Miles. As a proud graduate of Ohio State, you will find him cheering on the Buckeyes on Saturday afternoons or spending time with his family and friends.
Heather Rogusky wears many hats at Wind Bender, handling payroll, permits, accounts payable and receivable, scheduling, and even home warranty processing. Since joining the industry in 2021, she has loved working for a family-owned company that feels more like one big team. Helping customers in need and working alongside her Wind Bender family is what makes every day rewarding.
Outside of work, Heather is married to Chris, a Marine Corps combat veteran, and together they have a 10-year-old daughter, Paisley, who often tags along to the office. Their home is also full of energy thanks to their three crazy dogs.
Heather’s talents go far beyond the office—she’s got some serious skills when it comes to music and athletics. A natural performer, she’s been known to grab the mic for karaoke and has sung in multiple choirs and barbershop quartets. On the sports side, she played basketball, swam competitively for years, was part of a water ballet team, and even spent time as a powerlifter.

Kayla Gilbert is one of the friendly voices behind Wind Bender, helping customers get the service they need with warmth and efficiency. While she’s been with Wind Bender for about a month, she brings a year and a half of experience in the heating, cooling, and plumbing industry. She joined the team because it was the right fit for her family, and she quickly fell in love with the supportive, family-like atmosphere.
At home, Kayla has a full and lively house. She’s a proud mom to three sassy, energetic kids—ages 16, 15, and 12—who keep her busy with their sports and activities. She’s also an animal lover, sharing her home with two dogs, 15 chickens, and a bearded dragon. When she’s not juggling family life, you might find her shopping, catching up on Survivor, rewatching Frasier, or indulging in a well-earned nap.
A creative at heart, Kayla loves coloring and diamond painting—a hobby that requires patience and precision, much like the care she brings to her work every day. With her warm personality and dedication to helping others, Kayla is an essential part of the Wind Bender team!
Beth McBride has been part of the heating, cooling, and plumbing industry for 20 years, gaining hands-on experience as a technician before transitioning into warehouse operations and administrative roles. As the daughter of Wind Bender’s founder, she grew up with the business and developed a deep passion for the trade. After completing HVAC school and spending time in the field, she joined the company, where she now helps keep everything running smoothly. To Beth, Wind Bender isn’t just a workplace—it’s family.
Although she works remotely from Port Richey, Florida, Beth stays closely connected to the team. She’s engaged to Zac, and together they have three grown children: James, Lexi, and Erik. Their family also includes four beloved "furry children"—their cats. When she’s not managing operations, you can find her outdoors, hitting the trails in her Jeep TJ, Trash Panda, or giving back through Riseup Off-road, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local communities through charity work and donations.
One of Beth’s more unique talents? Whip artistry. She trained in the skill as a teenager, mastering everything from precision handling to cracking a whip at the speed of sound. Whether she’s keeping Wind Bender running efficiently or tackling an off-road adventure, Beth brings passion, energy, and a sense of fun to everything she does.
Born and raised in Bradford, Mike Brubaker has been in the plumbing industry for over a decade. As Wind Bender’s Plumbing Supervisor, he thrives in the small company atmosphere, where he can put his skills to work helping people every day.
Mike is as genuine as they come—what you see is what you get. When he’s not solving plumbing challenges, you’ll likely find him on his Harley, taking every opportunity to hit the open road. And while he’s got plenty of skills customers see in action, he keeps a few hidden talents up his sleeve.

Arthur Harris has been a dedicated plumber for over 10 years, bringing hands-on expertise and a passion for helping people to every job. A Kettering native and Xenia graduate, he joined Wind Bender for its convenient location and the opportunity to work directly with customers, solving problems and making their homes run smoothly.
Outside of work, Arthur is a devoted husband and father of two. His family also includes a loyal dog who keeps things lively at home. When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him watching football, spending time in nature, or involved with his church community.
A true handyman, Arthur has a knack for fixing things and is also surprisingly skilled at gardening. Whether it’s repairing plumbing systems or growing something from the ground up, he takes pride in his work and the care he puts into everything he does.
Hailing from Dayton and a graduate of Northridge, Thomas Dillon has been in the heating and cooling industry for nine years. He joined Wind Bender for the opportunity to grow his career and enjoys the challenge of solving complex HVAC problems for customers.
At home, Thomas is a devoted husband and father of three. When he’s not working hard to keep homes comfortable, he’s spending time with his family. His practical approach and problem-solving skills make him a trusted member of the Wind Bender team, always ready to tackle any heating or cooling challenge that comes his way.
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Anthony Waterhouse brings six years of industry experience to Wind Bender Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. A graduate of Trotwood-Madison, he was drawn to Wind Bender by its new management and the opportunity to grow his skills—especially in specialized projects like geothermal installations.
Anthony is a dedicated family man, happily married with two dogs and a proud grandfather to ten grandkids. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and embracing his deep sense of patriotism. You might not know it at first, but Anthony’s love for his country runs strong, making him a reliable and hardworking part of the Wind Bender team.

Wind Bender was great to work with. Their office folks were super responsive and helpful. The techs they sent out communicated well. I had a water heater replaced and I think the tech had the old one out and the new one in in under three hours. Really pleased with the work and would definitely use them again.
